For the dough:

3 tablespoons of natural yogurt
70 g sugar
1 egg
200 g butter
170 ml milk
a pinch of salt
1 cube of fresh yeast
1 packet of baking powder
650 g flour
For the filling:

120 g butter
4 apples
1 packet of vanilla sugar
For decoration:

Sugar to taste
15 g cinnamon

1. Prepare the dough:

Dissolve a teaspoon of sugar from the specified amount in warm milk and add the yeast. Let it activate for 10 minutes.
Mix the butter with the remaining sugar and salt. Add the egg and yogurt and mix well.
Sift the flour with the baking powder and add it alternately with the yeast milk, stirring well until you get a homogeneous dough.
Knead the dough by hand for 5-10 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Put the dough in a bowl, cover it with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 50 minutes.
2. Prepare the filling:

Wash, peel, and core 4 apples and cut them into small cubes.
3. Assemble the snails:

Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Melt the butter and spread it over the dough.
Evenly distribute the apple cubes on the dough and sprinkle with vanilla sugar.
Roll up the dough tightly, starting from the longer side.
Cut the roll into slices about 3 cm thick.
4. Bake the snails:

Place the slices on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving a small space between them.
Bake the snails for 15-20 minutes.
Allow the apple snails to cool completely.
5. Decorate and serve:

Mix the sugar with cinnamon.
Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon mixture over the cooled snails.
