Here’s how to remove hormones and antibiotics from chicken: 3 verified methods

From now on, you can eat commercially bought chicken without worrying about the presence of harmful substances…

Once upon a time, chicken used to land on our table directly from grandma’s coop. Today, however, the supermarket shelves are full of chicken meat, and we know very well that producers are not the most loyal competitors.

The birds are fed with combined feed, hormones, and antibiotics, the latter remaining in the chicken’s body for more than a week.

How can we make sure that this meat won’t harm us? Chicken meat can be ‘purified’ from antibiotics and toxins right in your kitchen.

First method

If you boil a commercial chicken, it’s better not to use the broth. It contains nothing good. In the boiling process, all the toxins from the meat are released into the water. If you want to make a good soup, take a home-raised chicken.

Second method

If you want to bake a chicken, be sure to remove all its internal organs. That’s where most of the toxins accumulate. It is also recommended to remove the skin.

Third method

Soak the chicken in a special solution. For this, you will need 1 liter of clean water, a few tablespoons of salt, and 1/4 cup of lemon juice. Put the chicken in this mixture for 2 hours. Pour out the solution, then prepare another one and leave the chicken in it for another 1-2 hours.

Also, you can soak the meat in carbonated mineral water. This way, it will not only be purified but also become much softer.
